The number of active Technology related job postings in the Global Media Sector decreased by 3.96% MoM, and decreased by 8.94% since October 2023, reaching 32,996 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 11,081 new Technology related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 9.31% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 12,440 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 16.05% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted decreased by 16.33% and the number of Technology related jobs closed decreased by 1.47%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 5.77%, the number of active Technology related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 3.07% and the number of Technology related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 0.49%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Technology related jobs posted stood at 12,853, number of Technology related jobs closed stood at 13,509 and number of active Technology related jobs stood at 35,136.
