The number of active Technology related job postings in the Technology and Communications sector of Ireland decreased by 1.03% MoM, and increased by 2.09% since October 2023, reaching 2,783 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 970 new Technology related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 10.98% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 999 Technology related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 6.02% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted increased by 7.06% and the number of Technology related jobs closed increased by 20.51%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted observed a growth rate of 2.3%, the number of active Technology related job postings observed a growth rate of 0.69% and the number of Technology related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 6.42%.
