The number of active Cloud related job postings in the Technology and Communications sector of United Kingdom decreased by 5.34% MoM, and decreased by 10.12% since October 2023, reaching 5,602 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 1,396 new Cloud related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 10.74% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 1,712 Cloud related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 9.18% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Cloud related jobs posted decreased by 27.22% and the number of Cloud related jobs closed decreased by 4.2%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Cloud related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 10.05%, the number of active Cloud related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 3.5% and the number of Cloud related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 1.42%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Cloud related jobs posted stood at 1,662, number of Cloud related jobs closed stood at 1,787 and number of active Cloud related jobs stood at 5,998.
