T-Mobile generates its revenue from two segments namely Pre-paid and Post-paid users. The company generated average revenue per user (ARPU) of $38.7 from pre-paid users and $49 from post-paid users in Q2 2022. Post-paid phone ARPU increased because of higher premium services, including Magenta Max, whereas the pre-paid ARPU increased slightly because of increased premium services, which was partially offset by marketing costs in Q2 2022.
