Denmark: Job Trends in the Technology and Communications Sector (October 2023 - January 2024)

The number of active job postings in the Technology and Communications sector of Denmark decreased by 5.07% MoM, and increased by 3.15% since October 2023, reaching 787 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 227 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 8.47% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 269 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 3.46% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 18.93% and the number of jobs closed increased by 15.95%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 6.76%, the number of active job postings observed a growth rate of 1.04% and the number of jobs closed observed a growth rate of 5.06%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 270, number of jobs closed stood at 252 and number of active jobs stood at 805.
