The number of active job postings in the Media sector of the Europe region decreased by 0.15% MoM, and decreased by 8.52% since October 2023, reaching 13,155 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 3,202 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 7.78% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 3,222 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 13.22% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 26.17% and the number of jobs closed decreased by 24.06%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 9.62%, the number of active job postings observed a negative growth rate of 2.92% and the number of jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 8.77%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 3,758, number of jobs closed stood at 4,041 and number of active jobs stood at 13,656.
