The number of active ESG related job postings in the Technology and Communications sector of Italy decreased by 39.95% MoM, and decreased by 37.02% since October 2023, reaching 478 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 195 new ESG related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 24.42% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 513 ESG related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 112.86% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new ESG related jobs posted decreased by 9.3% and the number of ESG related jobs closed increased by 132.13%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new ESG related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 3.2%, the number of active ESG related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 14.28% and the number of ESG related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 32.41%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of ESG related jobs posted stood at 231, number of ESG related jobs closed stood at 303 and number of active ESG related jobs stood at 703.
