The second-largest deal was between Affinity Equity Partners (S) Pte, Ltd.; BRV Capital Management and Ssg.Com Corp., while the third-largest deal was between Anchor Equity Partners (Asia) Limited and Curly Co Ltd. The Affinity Equity Partners (S) Pte, Ltd.; BRV Capital Management-Ssg.Com Corp. deal and the Anchor Equity Partners (Asia) Limited-Curly Co Ltd deal were valued at $252.0 million and $209.2 million, respectively. The fourth-largest deal was between CJ Korea Express; DST Global; Hillhouse Capital Group; Sequoia Capital China; SPEX Management-Curly Co Ltd valued at $196.1 million, whereas the deal between Altos Ventures; Aspecs Management; Capstone Partners Korea; Goodwater Capital, LLC; Kakao Ventures; Softbank Ventures Korea Inc; Strong Ventures, LLC-Carrot Market valued at $154.8 million was the fifth-largest deal.
Cumulatively, the top five deals amounted to $1,225.1 million and accounted for nearly 53.87% of the total deals (by value) announced during the last twelve months.
