Of the 144 deals, the deal secured between Turkey Wealth Fund and Turk Telekomunikasyon AS, was the largest Private Equity/Venture Financing deal in the Turkey Technology, Media and Telecom sector, which was valued at $1,650.0 million and was completed on March 10, 2022. The second-largest deal was between ADQ; General Atlantic Ltd; Princeville Capital; Qatar Investment Authority; SoftBank Vision Fund 2 and Trendyol.com, while the third-largest deal was between Abu Dhabi Growth Fund (ADG); Falcon Edge Capital, LP; Mubadala Investment Co; Sequoia Capital Operations LLC; Tiger Global Management LLC and Getir. The ADQ; General Atlantic Ltd; Princeville Capital; Qatar Investment Authority; SoftBank Vision Fund 2-Trendyol.com deal and the Abu Dhabi Growth Fund (ADG); Falcon Edge Capital, LP; Mubadala Investment Co; Sequoia Capital Operations LLC; Tiger Global Management LLC-Getir deal were valued at $1,500.0 million and $768.0 million, respectively. The fourth-largest deal was between DisruptAD; Mubadala Investment Co; Sequoia Capital Operations LLC; Silver Lake Management LLC; Tiger Global Management LLC; Winter Capital-Getir valued at $555.0 million, whereas the deal between Balderton Capital (UK) LLP; BlackRock Inc; Index Ventures LLP; IVP LuxCo S.a.r.l.; Kora Management LP; Makers Fund-Dream Games valued at $255.0 million was the fifth-largest deal.
Cumulatively, the top five deals amounted to $4,728.0 million and accounted for nearly 88.63% of the total deals (by value) announced during the last twelve months.
