Of the 125 deals, the deal secured between Blackstone Inc and VFS Global, was the largest Private Equity/Venture Financing deal in the United Arab Emirates Technology, Media and Telecom sector, which was valued at $1,870.0 million and was completed on October 7, 2021. The second-largest deal was between Brookfield Business Partners LP and Magnati Payment Solutions, while the third-largest deal was between B Riley Financial Inc; Chimera Investments LLC; DisruptAD; Dogus Group; Next Play Capital; NordStar Capital LP; SoftBank Vision Fund 2 and Kitopi. The Brookfield Business Partners LP-Magnati Payment Solutions deal and the B Riley Financial Inc; Chimera Investments LLC; DisruptAD; Dogus Group; Next Play Capital; NordStar Capital LP; SoftBank Vision Fund 2-Kitopi deal were valued at $690.0 million and $415.0 million, respectively. The fourth-largest deal was between Imm Investment Corp; Metric Capital Partners LLP; Olayan Group-Pure Harvest Smart Farms valued at $180.5 million, whereas the deal between ADQ-Fawry for Banking Technology and Electronic Payments SAE valued at $68.5 million was the fifth-largest deal.
Cumulatively, the top five deals amounted to $3,224.0 million and accounted for nearly 78.91% of the total deals (by value) announced during the last twelve months.
