The number of active Social related job postings driven by Social in the Leisure and Arts sector of the Asia-Pacific region decreased by 12.63% MoM, and decreased by 16.66% since October 2023, reaching 6,018 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 2,042 new Social related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 7.81% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 2,912 Social related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 46.77% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Social related jobs posted decreased by 42.74% and the number of Social related jobs closed decreased by 16.13%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Social related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 16.96%, the number of active Social related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 5.89% and the number of Social related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 5.69%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Social related jobs posted stood at 2,433, the average number of Social related jobs closed stood at 2,710 and the average number of active Social related jobs stood at 6,776.
