France: Job Trends in the Transport and Logistics Sector (October 2023 - January 2024)

The number of active job postings in the Transport and Logistics sector of France decreased by 11.63% MoM, and decreased by 17.61% since October 2023, reaching 3,313 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 613 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 21.51% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 1,049 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 20.3% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 38.58% and the number of jobs closed decreased by 14.02%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 15%, the number of active job postings observed a negative growth rate of 6.25% and the number of jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 4.91%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 853, number of jobs closed stood at 1,086 and number of active jobs stood at 3,730.
