Global: ESG Related Job Trends in the Leisure and Arts Sector (October 2023 - January 2024)

The number of active ESG related job postings in the Global Leisure and Arts Sector decreased by 7.54% MoM, and decreased by 16.91% since October 2023, reaching 43,793 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 17,683 new ESG related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 0.16% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 21,254 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 0.51% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new ESG related jobs posted decreased by 25.4% and the number of ESG related jobs closed decreased by 19.54%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new ESG related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 9.31%, the number of active ESG related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 5.99% and the number of ESG related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 6.99%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of ESG related jobs posted stood at 19,858, number of ESG related jobs closed stood at 22,765 and number of active ESG related jobs stood at 48,734.
