The number of active job postings in the Leisure and Arts sector of Thailand decreased by 9.34% MoM, and decreased by 7.28% since October 2023, reaching 2,243 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 624 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 18.41% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 855 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 112.16% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 28.03% and the number of jobs closed decreased by 11.03%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 10.38%, the number of active job postings observed a negative growth rate of 2.49% and the number of jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 3.82%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 663, number of jobs closed stood at 730 and number of active jobs stood at 2,371.
