Brazil: Job Trends in the Transport and Logistics Sector (October 2023 - January 2024)

The number of active job postings in the Transport and Logistics sector of Brazil decreased by 21% MoM, and decreased by 9.55% since October 2023, reaching 1,042 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 492 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 33.06% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 769 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 11.77% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 27.33% and the number of jobs closed increased by 68.27%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 10.09%, the number of active job postings observed a negative growth rate of 3.29% and the number of jobs closed observed a growth rate of 18.94%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 667, number of jobs closed stood at 639 and number of active jobs stood at 1,196.
