Spain: Job Trends in the Transport and Logistics Sector (October 2023 - January 2024)

The number of active job postings in the Transport and Logistics sector of Spain decreased by 15.79% MoM, and decreased by 21.73% since October 2023, reaching 688 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 280 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 37.25% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 409 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 69.71% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 7.59% and the number of jobs closed increased by 41.52%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 2.6%, the number of active job postings observed a negative growth rate of 7.84% and the number of jobs closed observed a growth rate of 12.27%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 262, number of jobs closed stood at 306 and number of active jobs stood at 809.
