The number of active job postings in the Travel & Tourism (Travel Services) sector of France decreased by 19.62% MoM, and decreased by 42.25% since October 2023, reaching 1,311 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 227 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 19.79% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 547 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 49.45% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 48.41% and the number of jobs closed increased by 5.39%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 19.8%, the number of active job postings observed a negative growth rate of 16.72% and the number of jobs closed observed a growth rate of 1.77%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 295, number of jobs closed stood at 555 and number of active jobs stood at 1,731.
