The number of active job postings in the Travel & Tourism (Passenger Transportation) sector of Germany decreased by 5.57% MoM, and increased by 5.21% since October 2023, reaching 11,460 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 655 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 41.15% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 1,331 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 59.78% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 24.71% and the number of jobs closed increased by 76.06%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 9.03%, the number of active job postings observed a growth rate of 1.71% and the number of jobs closed observed a growth rate of 20.75%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 1,058, number of jobs closed stood at 887 and number of active jobs stood at 11,586.
