The number of active job postings in the Travel & Tourism (Travel Services) sector of Germany increased by 1.17% MoM, and increased by 24.39% since October 2023, reaching 2,341 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 658 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 64.12% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 631 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 79.45% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted increased by 56.67% and the number of jobs closed decreased by 93.39%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a growth rate of 16.14%, the number of active job postings observed a growth rate of 7.55% and the number of jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 59.56%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 1,552, number of jobs closed stood at 3,718 and number of active jobs stood at 2,522.
