The number of active Artificial Intelligence related job postings in the Global Travel & Tourism (Passenger Transportation) Sector decreased by 5.8% MoM, and increased by 20.36% since October 2023, reaching 1,218 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 269 new Artificial Intelligence related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 57.7% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 344 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 35.34% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Artificial Intelligence related jobs posted decreased by 14.6% and the number of Artificial Intelligence related jobs closed increased by 16.61%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Artificial Intelligence related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 5.13%, the number of active Artificial Intelligence related job postings observed a growth rate of 6.37% and the number of Artificial Intelligence related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 5.26%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Artificial Intelligence related jobs posted stood at 445, number of Artificial Intelligence related jobs closed stood at 389 and number of active Artificial Intelligence related jobs stood at 1,178.
