The number of active Technology related job postings in the Global Travel & Tourism (Passenger Transportation) Sector decreased by 8.87% MoM, and decreased by 13.93% since October 2023, reaching 12,236 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 3,304 new Technology related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 12.13% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 4,495 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 10.31% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted decreased by 21.84% and the number of Technology related jobs closed increased by 9.23%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 7.88%, the number of active Technology related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 4.88% and the number of Technology related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 2.99%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Technology related jobs posted stood at 3,909, number of Technology related jobs closed stood at 4,376 and number of active Technology related jobs stood at 13,405.
