The number of active job postings in the Travel & Tourism (Passenger Transportation) sector of Qatar decreased by 29.83% MoM, and decreased by 47.65% since October 2023, reaching 167 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 119 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 24.68% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 190 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 16.67% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 19.05% and the number of jobs closed increased by 93.88%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 6.8%, the number of active job postings observed a negative growth rate of 19.4% and the number of jobs closed observed a growth rate of 24.69%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 150, number of jobs closed stood at 175 and number of active jobs stood at 258.
