The number of active job postings in the Travel & Tourism (Passenger Transportation) sector of United States decreased by 8.06% MoM, and decreased by 14.66% since October 2023, reaching 20,547 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 6,737 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 10.03% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 8,539 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 51.67% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 22.55% and the number of jobs closed decreased by 14.48%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 8.17%, the number of active job postings observed a negative growth rate of 5.15% and the number of jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 5.08%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 7,062, number of jobs closed stood at 8,266 and number of active jobs stood at 22,207.
