US Treasury Office of Financial Research (OFR) has announced the launch of an improved public climate data platform (JADE)

Following a successful pilot (The Hub) in 7/2022 related to the Federal Reserve Bank of New York's access to public climate data, the US Treasury's Office of Financial Research (OFR) is developing an enhanced version of its interagency data-and-analytics platform. The Joint Analysis Data Environment (JADE) will be the name of the new platform. JADE, once fully operational, will aid in comprehensive financial-stability research by offering a platform for integrating and analysing a wide range of financial and other data. The OFR expects the initial version of JADE to be released in the second half of 2023 and will be expanded on in collaboration with other FSOC regulators.
