The partnership, which was announced in June 2024 and is set to continue until the end of the 2026 season, sees UniCredit serve as the official banking partner of the Davis Cup. The deal is worth an estimated $3 million annually. Overall, the competition generated an estimated $11.89 million in sponsorship revenue for the 2024 season finals, reveals GlobalData, a leading data and analytics company.
GlobalData’s latest report, “Post Event Analysis –Davis Cup Finals 2024,” revealed that Movistar, the pay-tv broadcasters, agreed the rights to broadcast the 2024 Davis Cup Finals in Spain, the hosts of the competition. The winning team of the Davis Cup Finals 2024 edition, Italy, took home approximately $2.68 million.
Olivia Snooks, Sport Analyst at GlobalData, comments: “It is worth noting that the 16 brands which sponsored the 2024 Davis Cup Finals, partnered with the Davis Cup throughout the entirety of the competition, including the finals which took place in November 2024. With that being said, the finals are the highest level of David Cup competition in 2024, therefore the latter stage of the competition holds huge commercial value.”

The 2024 edition of the Davis Cup Finals saw impressive TV viewing figures. In terms of viewing figures across Italy, Jannik Sinner’s decisive match against Tallon Griekspoor attracted around 4.5 million viewers, representing over 30% of audience share. The first singles match between Matteo Berrettini and Botic van de Zandschulp attracted around 4.5 million viewers, equal to around 29% of the time slot’s audience share.
Snooks continues: “The high television figures that the 2024 Davis Cup Finals experienced were a strong reflection of how much tennis is followed in Italy. This is largely due to the success of World number one Jannik Sinner. The Davis Cup Finals in 2024 concluded a successful season that saw him claim his first two Grand Slam titles at January’s Australian Open and September’s US Open.”
Tickets for the 2024 Davis Cup Finals could have been purchased in a variety of ways, including a full pass, quarterfinals only, and individual matches. Original official prices for the final were around €40 ($42) and €200 ($210). However, once the final had been decided, some tickets were resold for tens of thousands of dollars.
Snooks concludes: “Given that the Davis Cup Finals 2024 were set to be Rafael Nadal’s final professional tournament, the news triggered huge fan interest in tickets for the event, with tickets selling out weeks prior to the finals even starting. The high demand for tickets for the finals, which took place between 19th to 24th November, suggest a hugely popular event in terms of attendance.”
