About this Webinar
US shale production has not only recovered from its lows during Covid-19 pandemic but can still be a competitive supply of crude for domestic and international markets. Unconventional production suffered a drastic decline throughout 2020 but, as with previous price crashes, the sector has experienced consolidation and operators that were able to remain, are generally coming out more resilient with a strategy less focused on growth and centered more on efficiency and capital discipline. Furthermore, the shale sector faces additional challenges that can negatively impact its growth. Some of these come in the form of regulations that restrict permitting or fracking, and others are related to the commitment and effectiveness in fully reducing GHG emissions in shale operations.
Please join GlobalData's Webinar on Post-COVID Shale Outlook for analysis on the following subjects:
Outlook to 2025 - How will shale production grow despite lower capital expenditure?
M&A Consolidation - What have been the major deals consolidating operators' production and acreage?
Impact of Hedging - How have hedging strategies impacted the profits of some shale operators?
Ban on Oil and Gas Federal Leasing - What can be the impact of these regulations on future production growth?
Emission Reduction Strategies - How shale operators are committing to lower emission intensity and what are their main operational strategies to achieve these reduction goals?
