About this Webinar
ESG is a key theme across all industries, and packaging within FMCG is no exception. Beverages is often viewed as representing some of the worst aspects of consumer goods packaging. Beverage manufacturers are using packaging to address ESG concerns and communicate with consumers. With the global economy experiencing inflationary pressures, and consumers facing a reduction in spending power and disposable incomes, category manufacturers are looking to understand how their categories are being impacted and how they can manage this impact alongside the demands of the ESG trend.
In this webinar GlobalData will look to address the following questions:
• What are consumers looking for from beverage manufacturers?
o How can packaging firms help address these demands?
• How will consumers combine ESG and economic concerns?
o How will consumer purchase and consumption habits change as a result of falling disposable incomes? How will this impact packaging demands, (for example multipacks) and consumer demands for lower cost alternatives?
- Does this vary by consumer group and how can manufacturers vary their offering to maximise consumer appeal?
o What is the risk to category manufacturers if focus on ESG is reduced?
