Alessio Brunello
Alessio Brunello, MSc, is an Analyst of Neurology and Ophthalmology at GlobalData in London. He provides in-depth scientific analysis of products within the neurology pharmaceutical sector, and constructs market forecast models based on business intelligence. Prior to working at GlobalData, Alessio completed his Masters in International Health Management at Imperial College London during which he gained extensive experience in management and business in the Healthcare sector. He also completed a summer internship for a consulting firm in London, where he developed a pricing and market access strategy for a novel drug.
Valentina Gburcik, PhD
Valentina Gburcik, PhD, is the Senior Director for Cardiovascular and Metabolic Disorders, Gender Health and Digital. Prior to taking this position, Valentina was a Senior Analyst at GlobalData, where she produced reports and drug forecasts across a range of high-profile and niche therapeutic indications in the field of cardiovascular and metabolic disorders as well as represented the company at client presentations, conferences and with the media. Previously, Valentina was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Royal Veterinary College (RVC) and University College London (UCL). Her academic research was focused on molecular and systems biology approach to metabolic and endocrine disorders. She also participated in the development and patenting of a novel nanoparticle-based system for drug delivery, which led her to co-found Tecrea Ltd., a spin-off company based in London’s Bioscience Innovation Centre. Valentina received her PhD in Biological Sciences from the University of Geneva, where she worked on mechanisms of drug resistance in breast cancer.
