Steve is a Lead Analyst within Global Data's Financial Services Practice responsible for Fintech and Thematic content. His research covers all areas of digital transformation strategy from both a customer and technology perspective, with a
particular focus on disruptive new business models. Prior to GD, Steve spent time at Forrester and Corporative Executive Board (CEB), and within strategy roles at Lloyds bank.
Suneet Muru
Suneet Muru is an Analyst in GlobalData's Thematic Intelligence Team and joined in September 2022. Before coming to GlobalData, Suneet completed an MSc in Finance & Investment at the University of Nottingham Business School, with interests in decentralized payment technology. Suneet specializes in cryptocurrency, blockchain, and the metaverse.
Sam Murrant
As the lead analyst in GlobalData’s Paymentsdivision, Sam is responsible for overseeing the Payments content on the GlobalData Platform, designing GlobalData’s annual financial services consumer survey, and coordinating consulting projects focused on the payments market. Sam has 10 years’ experience as a payments analyst, working across all areas of GlobalData’s payments
practice from databases to insight reports. His particular areas of interest
cover disruptive trends in payments.

Andy Schmidt
Andy Schmidt is a former banker and industry analyst who helps drive CGI’s strategy across the company’s global financial services vertical. Andy has more than 25 years of experience in guiding financial business and technology decisions. His primary expertise spans current and emerging payment types, anti-money laundering, know your customer (KYC), and onboarding. He also specializes in product and market strategy, innovation, data, mergers and acquisitions, and the translation of complex technologies into straightforward business opportunities.

Alistair Brown has over thirty-five years of experience in Payments and Management Consulting.
Global Head of Payments at EPAM, selling and delivering consult-design-build programmes worldwide in neo-banking, instant payments, merchant acquiring, payment gateways, prepaid.and previously VP at American Express – developed and directed Corporate Purchasing Card solution and its team for UK and Europe, building a $1 billion business in four years.
Malcolm deMayo
Before joining NVIDIA, he managed strategic financial service industry customers at Oracle. Prior to this he held various leadership roles at Teradata, EMC, Veritas and TCS. DeMayo began his career at NCR
