In 2021, the technology company reported 36.3% women participation in its workforce, a decrease of 1 percentage point over 2020. At the senior management level, the representation of women increased to 6.5% by 0.2 percentage points over 2020.

Samsung aims to remunerate all employees equally for work of the same value, regardless of gender. In 2021, the technology company improved its gender pay gap in Korea by 3.1 percentage points over 2020.
