The number of active ESG related job postings in the Global Agriculture and Forestry Sector decreased by 12.86% MoM, and decreased by 21.49% since October 2023, reaching 4,213 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 1,783 new ESG related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 14.07% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 2,405 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 24.16% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new ESG related jobs posted decreased by 9.72% and the number of ESG related jobs closed increased by 34.73%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new ESG related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 3.35%, the number of active ESG related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 7.75% and the number of ESG related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 10.45%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of ESG related jobs posted stood at 2,030, number of ESG related jobs closed stood at 2,270 and number of active ESG related jobs stood at 4,777.
