China: Job Trends in the Agriculture and Forestry Sector (October 2023 - January 2024)

The number of active job postings in the Agriculture and Forestry sector of China increased by 1.5% MoM, and increased by 0.46% since October 2023, reaching 878 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 29 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 70.59% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 16 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 36% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted increased by 45% and the number of jobs closed decreased by 81.61%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a growth rate of 13.19%, the number of active job postings observed a growth rate of 0.15% and the number of jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 43.13%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 28, number of jobs closed stood at 44 and number of active jobs stood at 872.
