The number of active Cybersecurity related job postings in the Global Consumer Packaged Goods Sector decreased by 11.14% MoM, and decreased by 22.19% since October 2023, reaching 1,802 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 579 new Cybersecurity related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 3.02% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 805 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 15.49% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Cybersecurity related jobs posted decreased by 36.79% and the number of Cybersecurity related jobs closed increased by 3.6%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Cybersecurity related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 14.18%, the number of active Cybersecurity related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 8.02% and the number of Cybersecurity related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 1.19%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Cybersecurity related jobs posted stood at 691, number of Cybersecurity related jobs closed stood at 785 and number of active Cybersecurity related jobs stood at 2,068.
