The number of active job postings in the Consumer Packaged Goods sector of Spain decreased by 17.1% MoM, and decreased by 16.27% since October 2023, reaching 834 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 331 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 9.07% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 503 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 28.64% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 28.82% and the number of jobs closed increased by 24.2%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 10.71%, the number of active job postings observed a negative growth rate of 5.75% and the number of jobs closed observed a growth rate of 7.49%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 420, number of jobs closed stood at 445 and number of active jobs stood at 967.
