Thailand: Job Trends in the Consumer Packaged Goods Sector (October 2023 - January 2024)

The number of active job postings in the Consumer Packaged Goods sector of Thailand decreased by 6.62% MoM, and decreased by 8.2% since October 2023, reaching 1,030 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 209 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 17.42% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 282 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 46.11% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted increased by 6.09% and the number of jobs closed increased by 43.88%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a growth rate of 1.99%, the number of active job postings observed a negative growth rate of 2.81% and the number of jobs closed observed a growth rate of 12.89%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 205, number of jobs closed stood at 227 and number of active jobs stood at 1,093.
