The overall beer market witnessed a decline in sales of beer amid the pandemic, the on-premise sales of beer were deeply hit and sales declined due to the closure of restaurants, bars, clubs, pubs, and other nightlife establishments for a brief period in 2020 as nightlife halted in China. Meanwhile, the e-commerce channel recorded a surge in sales as consumers opted for online ordering.
