The number of active job postings in the Consumer Packaged Goods sector of Vietnam decreased by 18.91% MoM, and decreased by 31.8% since October 2023, reaching 326 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 98 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 24.62% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 174 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 18.37% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 53.55% and the number of jobs closed decreased by 15.12%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 22.56%, the number of active job postings observed a negative growth rate of 11.98% and the number of jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 5.32%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 149, number of jobs closed stood at 186 and number of active jobs stood at 406.
