The second-largest deal was between BBVA and Neon Pagamentos SA, while the third-largest deal was between Goldman Sachs & Co LLC and Provu Servicos de Administracao e Correspondent Bancario SA. The BBVA-Neon Pagamentos SA deal and the Goldman Sachs & Co LLC-Provu Servicos de Administracao e Correspondent Bancario SA deal were valued at $300.0 million and $255.7 million, respectively. The fourth-largest deal was between A-Star Partners; Coatue Management LLC; DST Global; Gokul Rajaram; Kelvin Beachum; Larry Fitzgerald; Plug & Play Ventures; The Hive Brasil; Valor Capital Group-CloudWalk Inc valued at $150.0 million, whereas the deal between Greenoaks Capital Management LLC; Kaszek Ventures; QED Investors, LLC; Ribbit Capital, L.P.; Tencent Holdings Ltd; Tiger Global Management LLC-Cora Pagamentos Ltda valued at $116.0 million was the fifth-largest deal.
Cumulatively, the top five deals amounted to $1,321.7 million and accounted for nearly 77.72% of the total deals (by value) announced during the last twelve months. The South and Central America region accounted for 7.40% of the total Private Equity/Venture Financing deals done globally, and accounted for 7.63% of the total deal size on a global scale.
