The number of active Social related job postings in the Asia-Pacific region driven by Social decreased by 10.09% MoM, and decreased by 19.13% since October 2023, reaching 48,756 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 19,552 new Social related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 0.15% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 25,025 Social related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 4.96% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 28.28% and the number of jobs closed decreased by 6.3%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Social related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 10.49%, the number of active Social related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 6.83% and the number of Social related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 2.15%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 23,117, number of jobs closed stood at 25,862 and number of active jobs stood at 55,456.
