The number of active Technology related job postings in the Asia-Pacific region driven by Technology decreased by 12.55% MoM, and decreased by 18.45% since October 2023, reaching 177,877 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 56,056 new Technology related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 14.17% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 81,594 Technology related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 13.81% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 18.85% and the number of jobs closed increased by 23.48%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 6.72%, the number of active Technology related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 6.57% and the number of Technology related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 7.28%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 65,549, number of jobs closed stood at 74,863 and number of active jobs stood at 202,305.
