In the LTM period, March 2022 turned out to be the most prolific in terms of deal size, with a total deal value of $1,295.7 million, resulting in an average deal value of $185.1 million during that month. On the other hand, the month of June 2022 was the most prolific in terms of deal volume, recording a total of 14 deals, resulting in an average deal value of $20.3 million during that month.
Of the 85 deals, the deal secured between EDF Invest; PGGM Infrastructure Fund and Norlys Tele Service A/S, was the largest Private Equity/Venture Financing deal in the Denmark, which was valued at $1,200.0 million and was completed on March 1, 2022. The second-largest deal was between 3i Infrastructure Plc and Esvagt AS, while the third-largest deal was between Heartland Financial USA Inc; Kinnevik AB; Tencent Holdings Ltd and Lunar Way A/S. The 3i Infrastructure Plc-Esvagt AS deal and the Heartland Financial USA Inc; Kinnevik AB; Tencent Holdings Ltd-Lunar Way A/S deal were valued at $356.5 million and $249.3 million, respectively. The fourth-largest deal was between Alkeon Capital; Bain Capital Ventures LLC; Coatue Management LLC; Creandum AB; Founders Fund; Kinnevik AB; Oberland Capital Management LLC; Seedcamp Ltd; Stripes Group LLC; Thrive Capital-Pleo Technologies ApS; Zealand Pharma AS valued at $200.0 million, whereas the deal between Fasanara Capital Ltd.-ViaBill AS valued at $120.0 million was the fifth-largest deal.
Cumulatively, the top five deals amounted to $2,205.8 million and accounted for nearly 56.52% of the total deals (by value) announced during the last twelve months.
