On the other hand, the month of June 2021 was the most prolific in terms of deal volume, recording a total of 129 deals, resulting in an average deal value of $134.1 million during that month.
Of the 841 deals, the deal secured between CDP Industria SpA; Eni SpA and Saipem SpA, was the largest Equity Offering deal in the Europe region, which was valued at $1,467.4 million and was completed on June 22, 2022. The second-largest deal was between Bundl Technologies Private Ltd and Instamart Service LLC, while the third-largest deal was between Mitsui & Co Ltd and Mainstream Renewable Power Ltd. The Bundl Technologies Private Ltd-Instamart Service LLC deal and the Mitsui & Co Ltd-Mainstream Renewable Power Ltd deal were valued at $700.0 million and $633.0 million, respectively. The fourth-largest deal was between Sun Life Assurance Company of Canada-The Renewables Infrastructure Group Ltd valued at $366.9 million, whereas the deal between Arkin Group; Menora Mivtachim Insurance Ltd; Migdal Insurance & Financial Holdings Ltd-Fu-Gen AG valued at $345.4 million was the fifth-largest deal.
Cumulatively, the top five deals amounted to $3,512.7 million and accounted for nearly 4.59% of the total deals (by value) announced during the last twelve months. The Europe region accounted for 15.34% of the total Equity Offering deals done globally, and accounted for 14.11% of the total deal size on a global scale.
