On the other hand, the month of March 2022 was the most prolific in terms of deal volume, recording a total of 15 deals, resulting in an average deal value of $23.1 million during that month.
Of the 145 deals, the deal secured between B Capital Group Management, L.P.; Baillie Gifford & Co; Carlyle Asia Partners Growth II; Qatar Investment Authority; Siguler Guff & Company, LP; Sofina Group and Verse Innovation Pvt Ltd, was the largest Private Equity/Venture Financing deal in the India, which was valued at $450.0 million and was completed on August 11, 2021. The second-largest deal was between 3L Capital LLC; Alteria Capital Advisors LLP; Aspada Investment Advisors; Lightbox Ventures; Reliance Retail Ltd and Dunzo Digital Pvt Ltd, while the third-largest deal was between Gem Global Yield Fund Inc.; Jio Platforms Ltd and Glance Digital Experience Pvt Ltd; Instoried Research Labs Pvt Ltd. The 3L Capital LLC; Alteria Capital Advisors LLP; Aspada Investment Advisors; Lightbox Ventures; Reliance Retail Ltd-Dunzo Digital Pvt Ltd deal and the Gem Global Yield Fund Inc.; Jio Platforms Ltd-Glance Digital Experience Pvt Ltd; Instoried Research Labs Pvt Ltd deal were valued at $240.0 million and $200.0 million, respectively. The fourth-largest deal was between 3ONE4 Capital Partners; Akshay Ghulati; Bertelsmann Nederland BV; Brunei Investment Agency; Multiples Alternate Asset Management Private Limited; Narshing Dass Makkar; Vertex Ventures US-Delightful Gourmet Pvt Ltd valued at $192.0 million, whereas the deal between Gaja Capital Partners; Westbridge Capital Partners-MarketXpander Services Pvt Ltd valued at $153.4 million was the fifth-largest deal.
Cumulatively, the top five deals amounted to $1,282.0 million and accounted for nearly 43.05% of the total deals (by value) announced during the last twelve months.
