The number of active Internet of Things related job postings in Japan driven by Internet of Things decreased by 12.99% MoM, and decreased by 19.33% since October 2023, reaching 576 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 68 new Internet of Things related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 56.69% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 154 Internet of Things related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 19.79% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Internet of Things related jobs posted decreased by 57.5% and the number of Internet of Things related jobs closed increased by 5.48%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Internet of Things related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 24.82%, the number of active Internet of Things related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 6.91% and the number of Internet of Things related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 1.79%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Internet of Things related jobs posted stood at 118, the average number of Internet of Things related jobs closed stood at 149 and the average number of active Internet of Things related jobs stood at 662.
