The number of active Artificial Intelligence related job postings in the Middle East and Africa region driven by Artificial Intelligence decreased by 9.14% MoM, and decreased by 12.22% since October 2023, reaching 2,256 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 702 new Artificial Intelligence related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 5.77% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 929 Artificial Intelligence related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 0.98% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 9.3% and the number of jobs closed increased by 15.12%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Artificial Intelligence related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 3.2%, the number of active Artificial Intelligence related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 4.25% and the number of Artificial Intelligence related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 4.8%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 810, number of jobs closed stood at 897 and number of active jobs stood at 2,491.
