The number of active Governance related job postings in the North America region driven by Governance decreased by 7.02% MoM, and decreased by 16.7% since October 2023, reaching 89,083 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 36,839 new Governance related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 8.16% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 43,568 Governance related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 2.5% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 19.85% and the number of jobs closed decreased by 2.52%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Governance related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 7.11%, the number of active Governance related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 5.91% and the number of Governance related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 0.85%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 40,793, number of jobs closed stood at 44,941 and number of active jobs stood at 99,567.
