The number of active job postings in Saudi Arabia decreased by 19.39% MoM, and decreased by 18.8% since October 2023, reaching 5,327 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 1,925 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 10.3% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 3,206 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 29.96% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 22.91% and the number of jobs closed increased by 49.46%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 8.31%, the number of active job postings observed a negative growth rate of 6.7% and the number of jobs closed observed a growth rate of 14.33%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 2,350, number of jobs closed stood at 2,571 and number of active jobs stood at 6,356.
