The number of active Cloud related job postings in the South and Central America region driven by Cloud decreased by 7.46% MoM, and decreased by 6.15% since October 2023, reaching 4,133 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 1,393 new Cloud related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 11.33% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 1,726 Cloud related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 5.63% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 24.58% and the number of jobs closed decreased by 5.48%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Cloud related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 8.97%, the number of active Cloud related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 2.09% and the number of Cloud related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 1.86%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 1,707, number of jobs closed stood at 1,769 and number of active jobs stood at 4,431.
