Mae Moh Mine in Lampang, was the largest mine in Thailand, producing approximately 16.53 million metric tons per annum (mmtpa) of Run-of-Mine (ROM) in 2021. The Mae Moh Mine is owned by Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand, and is due to operate until 2029. The second largest mine with approximately 4.96 mmtpa of ROM, was the Saraburi Quarry located in Saraburi. The Saraburi Quarry is owned by Siam City Cement Public Co Ltd.
