The number of active job postings in the Power sector of the North America region decreased by 5.14% MoM, and decreased by 17.54% since October 2023, reaching 16,041 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 4,516 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 2.34% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 5,386 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 4.62% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 31.33% and the number of jobs closed decreased by 30.31%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 11.77%, the number of active job postings observed a negative growth rate of 6.22% and the number of jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 11.34%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 5,337, number of jobs closed stood at 6,478 and number of active jobs stood at 17,584.
